Blue seal is the most famous Okinawan ice cream. The ice park is located next to Blue seal shop at Urasoe Makiminato. You can learn the history of blue seal and even make your own popsicle at only here blue seal ice park! It's a good spot not only for kids but also adults can enjoy.

  Mini plant

  There is a little ice cream making factory in the charged experience area. You can observe the ice making during 10:30-18:00 for only visitors paid for original popsicle making. You cannot ask questions or talk with the staff making the ice, but you can watch them making yummy ice cream!

  The freezer experience

  The best temperature for ice cream is －20℃. At ice park, you can experience the world of －20℃. It is very cold that you cannot be in the freezer more than 10 seconds. The freezer experience comes with the original popsicle making plan. Once you experienced the freezer, it's time to make your own original popsicle!

  Original popsicle making

  You can enjoy making your own popsicle with your friends and family! You can make your original popsicle by choosing the flavor and toppings. The time limit to make the popsicle is 5 minutes, so it's recommended to choose the design at the beginning!

How to enjoy the Blue Seal Ice Park

The Blue Seal Ice Park is opened on September 2016 next to the Blue Seal Makiminato shop. It's a popular tourist destination where you can enjoy making/decorating your own popsicle. For popsicle making, you need a reservation in advance. The capacity is 32 people. If there is less than the capacity number, you don't need a reservation. However, it's recommended to make a reservation in advance from Blue seal ice park home page or by phone call.

At the charged experience area, only for original popsicle making can enter, but kids under 10 years old, can be with a parent. Hence, you can take a movie/picture of them making the popsicle or observing the ice cream making.

Once you have finished making your own popsicle, it's time for you to make soft cream! You can also put the topping and make a parfait. You can eat soft cream at the community space at the ice park so have an ice cream and chill for the moment.

You can enjoy taking pictures and learn about the history of blue seal. It's recommended to come stop by at the ice park before/after visiting the Blue seal Makiminato ice cream shop.
