Michi-no-Eki Itoman is located south from the Naha-airport and Okinawa express IC. You can enjoy shopping fresh vegitables, fish, and restaurant at the Michi-no-Eki. There are many tourist come to visit the store even on weekdays. The market provides the home delivery service, so it's recommended to use when you bought too much!

  Tourist information and where to go

  Itoman-city is surrounded by the ocean, hence the weather is very uncertain. The weather will be very bad due to the typhoon and hard rain, but there are some hot winter days you want to wear just T-shirt. Hence, some times the plans are not going to be good as planed due to the weather. It's recommended to stop by at the Michi-no-Eki Itoman Information center! They can give you a good advice and plans suits your wish.

  Fresh fish center

  At the fish center, they have super fresh fish that landed on the day. There are many fish shops at the center, you can enjoy walking around inside. Sashimi(rare fish), griled fish, and soup are also sold at the center. You can sit at the table and enjoy your meal! Many visitors enjoy the center not only just locals but also tourists around the world!

  Fresh fish you can eat on the spot

  You can get Steamed shrimp sashimi, grilled scallops sea urchin sauce on top, vivid red colored surf clam from different shops. You can eat them at the table on the spot.
  
  

  Shrimp Sashimi is little bit sweet and plump. Since it's so fresh there is no fishy smelling.

How to enjoy at the Michi-no-Eki Itoman

At farmer's market Itoman, you can get fresh vegitables, fish, meat and enjou the restaurant at the market. Many tourits and locals visit the market even on weekdays. There are convenient stores and super markets near by. Hence the parking lots are always full of cars.

The farmer's market has plants section as well. The price is more afordable than the regular markets. It will be 5 % off if you use Ajima credit card.

At Michi-no-Eki Itoman, open radio event and Itoman fare are held. It will be super crowded during the fare season. You may not be able to park at the market's parking lots, so leave the house with time spare. If you are lucky, you may be able to see the famous radio DJ at the event!
